select Experience

In addition to outpatient therapy experience, previous roles include providing psychotherapy through Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and Valle Verde Pediatrics in Poway, as well as crisis intervention services at The Bridge for Youth and conducting in-home therapy at Washburn Center for Children, both located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have also facilitated various therapeutic and life skills groups for caregivers and youth in Minneapolis and St. Louis, Missouri.

TherapeutIc APproaches

I view treatment with my clients as a collaboration. When working with children, I incorporate parents and caregivers into sessions whenever appropriate. Leveraging parents’ insight and existing relationship with their child has a highly positive impact on treatment goals. Additionally, I can offer guidance to parents about how they can positively influence their child’s symptoms.

I incorporate several modalities and approaches into my work with clients and customize them in a way that supports them in improving their mental  and behavioral health:

  • Behavior Management Training

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • First Approach Skills Training

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Strengths-Based Therapy

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
